1. What is this event about?

This is the official 20-year reunion for the West Charlotte High School Class of 2005! It’s a weekend celebration of memories, reconnection, and giving back to the Lion’s Den through our Alumni Scholarship Fund.

2. Who is invited?

All classmates, teachers and staff of the West Charlotte High School Class of 2005 are welcome, along with their guests. Whether you’re in Charlotte or coming from afar, we want you in the building!

*This is an Adult/21+ event. No children allowed.

3. When and where is the reunion?

Summer-Fun Weekend Lineup:

• Friday, July 18th at 8:00 PM – Meet & Greet

  • Great drinks & good music
  • Delicious menu items available for purchase
  • Wear your WC colors or paraphernalia
  • Reminisce, take pictures, and vibe with classmates
  • Pick up your Saturday Day Party ticket packages (8–10 PM)
  • Buy raffle tickets to support our Alumni Scholarship Fund
  • This event is open to the public
• Saturday, July 19th from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Summer Day Party (Main Reunion Event)

4. What is the dress code?

• Friday: WC colors/paraphernalia or casual chic
• Saturday: Grown and Sexy in Maroon & Gold

5. Will there be food and drinks?

Yes!

• Friday: Menu items and drinks available for purchase
• Saturday: Complimentary gourmet hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages included with each entry ticket. A cash bar with custom drink specials will be available. Bundle Packages include drink tickets.
• Homecoming: Class of 2005 tailgate-grilled foods and drinks.

6. How do I RSVP or purchase tickets?

7. Is there a cost to attend?

Yes. Registration fees help cover event costs and include a contribution to the Alumni Scholarship Fund. Various packages and à la carte pricing are available to fit your preferences.

8. What is the Alumni Scholarship Fund?

Our 20-year reunion is dedicated to keeping Lion Pride alive and giving back to our school. At least 20% of all proceeds from ticket sales and memorabilia will be donated to the West Charlotte High School National Alumni Association’s Clinton L. Blake Scholarship Endowment Fund.  Proceeds from reunion ticket sales, raffles, merchandise, donations and sponsorships help to fuel this initiative.

9. Can I donate to the scholarship even if I can’t attend?

Yes! You can make a donation directly on the website. Every contribution supports our mission to give back.

10. How can I stay updated?

Check the website regularly for updates, event changes, and highlights.  Fill out the “Contact Us” form to request email updates about the reunion events.

11. How do I collect my purchased items?

You can pick up your purchased merchandise at the following times and locations:

• Meet & Greet (Friday, 8–10 PM)*
• Summer Day Party (Saturday)*
• Homecoming Tailgate (Fall 2025)*

*Order deadlines are outlined in the ticket and item descriptions. Shipping is available for merchandise items with a $10 add-on fee.

12. How can I become a sponsor or donate more to support the reunion and scholarship?

Our class goal is to raise $5,000 for this cause. You can support through general donations or by becoming a sponsor:

Donors

• Amount: $5–$199
• Recognition: Listed on our website (optional)

Maroon Sponsor ($200–$349)

• At least 20% goes to the scholarship fund ($40–$69.80)
• Marketing: Name/business logo on website & step-and-repeat banner
• Perks: Entry for 1 representative + 1 drink ticket

Gold Sponsor ($350–$499)

• At least 30% goes to the scholarship fund ($105–$149.70)
• Marketing: Name/business logo on website & step-and-repeat banner
• Perks: Entry for 1 representative + 1 drink ticket
• Bonus: 1 Class of 2005 “Sponsor” Reunion T-shirt

Lion Pride Sponsor ($500+)

• At least 50% goes to the scholarship fund ($250+)
• Marketing: Name/business logo on website & step-and-repeat banner
• Perks: Entry for 2 representatives + 2 drink tickets
• Bonus: 1 “Sponsor” Reunion T-shirt + 1 Reunion Tumbler
